Lorenz was born in Mödling, Austria just south of Vienna. He grew up in Innsbruck in the Austrian Alps, where he nurtured a passion for photography. At the age of 23, Lorenz moved to London to pursue photography professionally. He spent 6 years in London, assisting highly established photographers in the industry. Lorenz later moved to New York for a full time assisting position. He is represented by lives and works in New York.As an independent photographer, Lorenz's clients include: Calvin Klein, DVF, Vera Wang, GAP, 7FAM, Free Assembly, Nili Lotan, Les Reveries, Tommy Hilfiger, Woolrich, Jason Wu, Tory Burch, THE LAST Magazine, Vogue, Puss Puss, Office Magazine, Allure, King Kong, V Magazine, Dior Magazine and more.

In London, Lorenz assisted highly established photographers in the industry, such as Annie Leibovitz, Mario Testino, and Steven Klein. Lorenz later moved to New York to launch his own career, which fused his life-long love of documentary photography with commercial work.

Commercially he is represented by acreativepartner. He has contributed editorial work to Harper’s Bazaar US, Vogue Australia, V Magazine and more. His documentary series “MODEL MAYHEM” was a Lens Culture internationl portait finalist in 2023. He lives and works between New York City and Lisbon.
